Sam is a Puget Sound native and a graduate of Loyola Marymount University and Gonzaga University School of Law. His practice principally involves insurance coverage. He has experience in all aspects of insurance coverage, including initial claim analysis and investigation, the litigation of declaratory judgment actions, and the defense of extra-contractual claims.

Sam’s background involves multiple lines of insurance. He routinely handles cases involving general liability, professional liability, property, automobile, and commercial trucking policies. These claims generally arise from construction defects, personal injuries, municipal projects, automobile collisions, theft, fire, or other catastrophic losses.

He also has significant experience working with reinsurers and runoff entities. He particularly enjoys working with his clients to sort through the complexities of insurance coverage and obtain positive and cost-effective results.

Sam and his family live in his hometown of Tacoma. In addition to coverage advice, he is always happy to talk Mariners, Seahawks, or trade recipes and restaurant recommendations.
