“There are only three sports: bull fighting, auto racing, and mountain climbing; all the rest are merely games.”
Drew grew up in sunny southern California and left to join the US Air Force. After two enlistments and 8 years, he left the USAF from JBLM to use his hard-earned GI Bill benefits, choosing Syracuse University. Drew double-majored there in Photojournalism and Middle Eastern Studies, was inducted into the SALUTE Veterans’ honors society, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He moved back to the PNW after graduating and worked as a journalist and photographer while applying to graduate programs. Drew chose to stay in Seattle and earned his Juris Doctor, Master of Business Administration, and a certificate in Leadership from Seattle University.
Drew has broad experience in the courtroom and as a negotiator, having started his legal career as private defense counsel. After several years of criminal defense, Drew switched tack toward prosecution. He came to Lether as an alum of the King County Prosecutor’s Office like many of our other associates.
When not in the office, Drew has a serious adrenaline problem. He builds, races, and rallies motorcycles, cars, and trucks with his wife, who navigates and co-drives in events. Together, they take care of Drew’s retired therapy dog and World’s Goodest Girl™, Athena.
